Pianist, composer, humanitarian and activist Danilo Pérez believes that a united global perspective for the arts and social justice are the keys to moving humanity forward in harmony. With Crisálida, Perez has convened his Global Messengers — former Berklee College of Music students hailing from Palestine, Greece, Iraq, Jordan and the United States — to contribute their respective cultural learnings and personal experiences with the goal of building community through music, without borders.

An original, lyrical soloist and a demanding group leader, Maria Kim is a dynamic singer, pianist and composer. Maria Kim grew up in South Korea, and took up the piano at the age of 3; 12 years later she was singing and playing the piano professionally throughout South Korea as the youngest jazz vocalist and pianist.

Highlights of last year was returning to New York to play 2 incredible shows at Brooklyn Steel and thanks to my team and the incredible Frank Filipetti, the whole concert was recorded. It gives me great pleasure to announce that I am releasing 'MIKA, Live from Brooklyn Steel'. Up and coming trombonist and composer Michael Wang releases his debut album Bone of the Wang Volume One: a captivating and dynamic story of passion (NL 2011). Bone of the Wang Volume One is a mesmerizing album with Wang’s warm definitive sound accompanied by his energetic and polished band.

John Tropea is one of the most admired and highly regarded guitar players of his generation. His playing shows a vast knowledge and respect for the tradition of the instrument as well as an original style that continues to define how the guitar best serves a wide variety of musical styles. He is a musician’s musician who attracts the finest players for his own projects.
