"Funny Lady" is a soundtrack album by American vocalist Barbra Streisand. It was released by Arista Records on March 15, 1975 to promote the 1975 American musical comedy-drama film "Funny Lady". Executively produced by Peter Matz, the fifteen tracks on the album were performed by Streisand, James Caan, and Ben Vereen. A soundtrack sequel to 1968's "Funny Girl", "Funny Lady" is a collection of songs from the point of view of American performer Fanny Brice. "How Lucky Can You Get", the album's only single released in April 1975, promoted the record and was written by Fred Ebb and John Kander, who also co-wrote the majority of the songs on "Funny Lady".

This collection is a pair of D-Train's earliest efforts, 1983's "Music" and the following year's "Something's on Your Mind"; for better or for worse, their sound is completely a product of its era, and while some listeners will find the disc thoroughly dated, others will enjoy its nostalgic charms.

Raleigh would also be a member of Bonfanti's subsequent band, Pictures, formed in 1977.

"The Who Sell Out" is the third studio album by the British rock band The Who, released on 15 December 1967 by Track Records in the UK and Decca Records in the US. It is a concept album, formatted as a collection of unrelated songs interspersed with faux commercials and public service announcements. The album purports to be a broadcast by pirate radio station Radio London. Part of the intended irony of the title was that The Who were making commercials during that period of their career.

"A Place Like This" is Robbie Nevil's second album, released in November 1988. Nevil's work is strong, with poppy hooks and bluesy rhythms. The songs tend to be more mellow than one would expect of a long-haired guy wearing leather, but while Nevil is an accomplished guitarist, his songs tend to smoother, more laid-back grooves. "Back on Holiday" stands out for both its strong melodies and funky vibe. While the themes of the album tend towards romance ("Mary Lou" is about a shy librarian who shows up at a party in unexpected style; "Love and Money" suggests that the subject of the song get their priorities straight), that shouldn't deter the listener.

Over a decade after her previous release, erstwhile Spice Girl Emma Bunton added a fourth album to her solo discography with 2019's My Happy Place. As on past efforts, Bunton's forte lies in '60s-inspired retro-nostalgia with flourishes of Motown and French pop. However, on My Happy Place, the bulk of the tracks consists of cover versions of her favorite tunes, which aren't always in that same vein.

Brass Construction continued to avoid the scrap heap, turning out another better-than-expected album. There were two more good singles in "Walkin' the Line" and "We Can Work It Out," and the production, arrangements, instrumental support, and vocals were all more inspired than they had been in the past.
