Blondie

Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band were pioneers in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-late 1970s. Its first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Over the next three years, the band achieved several hit singles including "Heart of Glass", "Call Me", "Rapture" and "The Tide Is High" and became noted for its eclectic mix of musical styles incorporating elements of disco, pop, reggae, and early rap music.

A good representation of the modern Blondie, Live By Request provides a nice performance. The band sounds solid and the concert mixes a variety of eras cleanly. The DVD offers excellent picture with positive audio and a minor mix of extras.

"The Hunter" is the 6th studio album by American band Blondie, released in May 1982. It was Blondie's last album of new material until 1999's No Exit. It was recorded in the fall of 1981 and January and February 1982.

Pollinator is Rock And Roll Hall Of Famers and NME Godlike Genius Award winners Blondie's 11th album. Pollinator has been two years in the making and follows on from 2014's 40th anniversary celebrations and the subsequent release of Ghosts Of Download. Alongside original band members Chris Stein, Debbie Harry and drummer Clem Burke, the album also features contributions from: Johnny Marr, Sia, Dev Hynes, Charli XCX, Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio), Nick Valensi (The Strokes) and The Gregory Brothers.
