This book is directed primarily at the specialist working in the field, on transmitters and transmission equipment, network planning, studio technology, playout centers and multiplex center technology and in the development departments for entertainment electronics or TV test engineering. Since the intire field of electrical communications technology is traversed in a wide arc, those who are students in this field are not excluded either.

The Bennewitz Quartet is one of the top ensembles on the international chamber music scene. After winning two prestigious competitions – Osaka Chamber Music and Festa 2005 and Prémio Paolo Borciani, Italy 2008, they quickly gained the acclaim of the critics. The ensemble has received various awards and in 2019 the four musicians won the Classic Prague Award for the Best Chamber Music Performance of the year.In the 2022/23 season the Bennewitz Quartet will return to Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Mozartfest Würzburg, Wigmore Hall London, Stadtcasino Basel and it will tour again in the United States. The ensemble will represent the Czech Republic in Madrid at the closing ceremony marking the end of its presidency of the Council of the European Union. The quartet will take part in the complete performance of the six quartets by Béla Bartok in Leuven and will continue its engagement in Dvořák’s integral string quartet performance within the Dvořák’s Prague Festival. The ensemble is currently preparing the release of its new CD featuring the string quartets by Joseph Haydn.

For the project of the newly founded clarinet trio called "Bawandi" the three young musicians Mario Haring, Alexandre Castro-Balbi and Patrick Hollich came together. They designed a diverse, highly interesting program with a clear focus, namely the rediscovery and reinterpretation of the works of two composers who had fallen into oblivion: the Jewish Robert Kahn, who had fled into exile, and Cesar Franck's successor as president at the Societe de National de Musique Vincent d'Indy.

Bruckner entered new musical territory with his Sixth Symphony. The meandering harmonies, intricate rhythms and imaginative orchestration are coupled with contrasting moods and a theme that pleasantly moves from dark to light.

His most sustained success was as a songwriter during the post war years in Chicago, where he was supplying songs to a range of artists, from Muddy Waters and Little Walter to Otis Spann and others.
