Por Favor, is the new full-length album from acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Brett Dennen. Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson), Por Favor was recorded in Nashville and features ten new songs. Por Favor is Dennen's sixth full-length album.

Brett Dennen's fifth album, Smoke and Mirrors makes it clear that the singer/songwriter's spirit is clearly aligned with the troubadours of the early '70s. Before you even hear a note, glancing at the cover image of Dennen standing amid a sunny panorama of trees and mountains gives you an idea of where he's coming from, and the nature-boy narrative of "Wild Child" echoes that imagery.

I came up with the name "Milow" in September 2003, but there's not really a meaning. I liked the simple sound of it, and I added the "w" as a personal touch. Later I discovered a coincidence: "Milo" is Greek for "apple", and "Jonathan" (my first name) is a kind of apple. But, to be honest, I didn't know this at the time :-)
 In Belgium there's a tradition of singer-songwriters who sing in English to pick a more international sounding artist name, instead of using our (long) Belgian name. It's because all of us secretly hope to have international success, and (we somehow think) that's harder with names like Jonathan Vandenbroeck, which is my real name.
