Third album from the Brighton bluesmeisters that refuse to compromise. Americana? Nope. Blues-rock extrapolation? Uh - no. London Town legends? Maybe. Slide guitar, acoustic bass and on-the-money drums? Yup. The RumBoogie Allstars are Carlos (guitars), Nik (bass, piano, harmonica) and Nick Pearly Gates (drums, percussion and plenty of cowbell).

Timeshift journeys back to a lost era of rail travel, when trains had names, character and style. Once the pride of the railway companies that ran them, the named train is now largely consigned to railway history. Writer and presenter Andrew Martin asks why we once named trains and why we don't do so anymore. He embarks on three railway journeys around Britain, following the routes of three of the most famous named trains - the Flying Scotsman, the Cornish Riviera Express and the Brighton Belle. We reflect on travel during the golden age of railways - when the journey itself was as important as reaching your destination - and compare those same journeys with the passenger experience today.

In the heroic days of rail travel, you could dine on kippers and champagne aboard the Brighton Belle, smoke a postprandial cigar as the Golden Arrow approached Paris or be shaved by the Flying Scotsman's onboard barber. Everyone from schoolboys to socialites knew of these glamorous trains.

Lynne and Pat have been singing together now for many years. They have an eclectic repertoire of traditional and modern songs from ballads to music hall and many of their songs are written by themselves. Their funny songs have a biting wit and some very risqué themes. "Their harmonies are striking, with an impressive vocal range - and they produce a powerful and unique sound. Charismatic, humorous and quirky, they are not averse to a spot of outrage, though they sing their more serious songs with the same level of energy and vitality"
