He is invited to the world's most prestigious opera houses and festivals including the Metropolitan Opera New York, the Paris Opera, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Staatsoper Berlin, La Scala Milan, the Proms London and the Salzburg Festival. Dumaux was the soloist of the 2019 gala concert at the Gцttingen International Handel Festival where he sung a program with arias from Handel's operas such as "Orlando", "Rinaldo", "Giulio Cesare" and "Ariodante". "Christophe Dumaux's appearance at this recital in the 2019 Gцttingen Handel Festival was electrifying, dazzling, completely stunning, showing a mature singer at the top of his game with great technique and depth of interpretation not to mention golden tone." (bachtrack) On this release he showcases his talent with a programme of Handel arias.

This centennial edition of E. E. Cumming's Complete Poems, published in celebration of his birth on October 14, 1894, contains all of the poems published or designated for publication by the poet in his lifetime.

At the time of his death in 1962, E. E. Cummings was, next to Robert Frost, the most widely read poet in America. Combining Thoreau's controlled belligerence with the brash abandon of an uninhibited bohemian, Cummings, together with Pound, Eliot, and William Carlos Williams, helped bring about the twentieth-century revolution in literary expression. He is recognized on the one hand as the author of some of the most beautiful lyric poems written in the English language, and on the other as one of the most inventive American poets of his time—in the worlds of Richard Kostelanetz, "the major American poet of the middle-twentieth-century."

Academy of Ancient Music (AAM) releases the penultimate volume of an acclaimed project to record Mozart’s complete works for keyboard and orchestra. This volume includes Mozart’s Concerto No. 7 for Three Pianos and Orchestra, performed here uniquely on three different types of keyboard instruments: by Robert Levin (tangent piano), Ya-Fei Chuang (fortepiano) and Laurence Cummings (harpsichord). It follows the release of the same concerto in Mozart’s own arrangement for two keyboards (Vol. 11) and is joined on this album by two other Piano Concertos composed in Salzburg in the early months of 1776.

Although less well known than his nephew François, Louis Couperin was one of the finest and most influential keyboard composers of the seventeenth century, his music mixing elegance, refined lyrical expressiveness, structural clarity and a touch of noble melancholy in a way that is always interesting and frequently powerful. These qualities suffuse the movements of his many suites, most notably perhaps in the slower ones–the eloquent préludes non mésurés (in which the music is only half notated, so as to allow the performer to exercise his improvisatory skills), the expansive allemandes, and perhaps above all in the gripping repetitions of the concluding chaconnes and passacailles–but on this disc it is also represented by a moving Tombeau lamenting the death of the lutenist Blancrocher. Laurence Cummings is a neat and intelligent player whose sound technique enables him to make the best of the resonant yet gentle sonorities of his instrument, and he is well recorded. A must for harpsichord enthusiasts, and a real bargain for all.

Countless richly decorated boats following the freshly crowned King George I, and behind him, Georg Friedrich Händel with his 50 musicians and the royal household: on July 17, 1717, the first suite of Händel's famous ""Water Music"" was performed in the middle of the Thames. His majesty took such pleasure in the music of the famous Händel that he had it repeated three times, twice before and once after dinner, although every performance lasted an hour. The boats full of people who wanted to listen were not to be counted. Wassermusik is still one of Händel's most popular works. It is therefore not surprising that the Festival Orchestra Göttingen admitted it into its program for its 10th anniversary in 2016. Conductor Laurence Cummings followed this arrangement of the single movements, as can be gleaned from the recently discovered earliest sources.
