We just come off a crazed US tour with Fourtet a month earlier, and a few months before that we did our first and very well-recieved tour of the UK after the big Wire article. Vibracathedral Orchesta & Jack Rose were also on the bill.

Chain Tripping - the band's seventh LP and third for DFA -was recorded between Marfa, Texas and the band's home in Los Angeles. The ten songs are unlike anything YACHT has ever made: pop experiments from a sideways dimension coaxed into their studio through a portal opened by machine intelligence. "AI and Machine Learning represent a revolution in music equivalent to the introduction of the synthesizer or the beginning of laptop music. We've been a band long enough to watch technology overwrite our assumptions many times, and felt compelled to bring these new tools into our life," explains YACHT.

Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine is the new album from Brockhampton. The album features guest appearances by Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Charlie Wilson, and JPEGMAFIA next to newcomers like Baird and fellow Corpus Christi rapper SoGone SoFlexy.

Yōsuke Yamashita is a Japanese jazz pianist, composer and writer. He is praised by critics for his unique piano style, which is influenced by free jazz, modal jazz and soul jazz. Since the late 1980s Yamashita's main group has consisted of Cecil McBee (bass), Pheeroan akLaff (drums). "30 Light-Years Floating" is the band's 30th anniversary release.
