En 2003, Cali sortait son premier album "L'Amour parfait". Pour fêter les 20 ans de ses chansons (avec un an de retard), il a enregistré "20 ans d'Amour parfait" en duo avec Cabrel, Calogero, Charlélie Couture, Olivia Ruiz, Dominique A, Benabar, entre autres. Rencontre et retour sur ces tubes qui "on changé sa vie".

Schoolhouse Funk is a 2000 compilation CD released by Cali-Tex. The credits say it was compiled by Motorcycle John, who is better known on the surface as producer DJ Shadow, who is an active collector of finding odd American high school recordings to locate hidden funk and soul nuggets. The album is a collection of his choices, some quirky but others revealing a sense of musicality from teenagers ready to enter the big world. The entire album does not feature any credits for what high school bands played what song but a few of them have been discovered through musical sleuths on the internet. Highlights include cover versions of songs by Paul McCartney, War, Herbie Hancock, and Dennis Coffey.
