Yundi, the Chinese dazzling pianist acclaimed by the Wall Street Journal for his - poetic depth and patrician elegance - continues his award-winning exploration of the works of Chopin with a new recording of the Ballades, and by embarking on a major international tour. If precedent is a guide, both are expected to cause massive excitement among his fans. For his new all-Chopin recording, Yundi performs the Opus 17 set of four Mazurkas, the Berceuse (Op 57), and all four Ballades. The latter works were composed between 1831 and 1842, and contain some of the composers most operatic writing, as well as his most challenging technical demands.
Album No.2 by this great Ska band is a cracker, lead of course by Madness's Lee Thompson and his pals. Their first album was one of those that you keep playing because it has that fell good factor. Twelve groove ridden tracks including a very neat reworking of a Bond Theme, a few covers including one from The Beatles, 'I'll Be Back', then we have Leiber & Stoller's 'Hongry' a stand out version oh and that Bond theme is John Barry's 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. An album full of good things, played by a superb group of musicians, and all the right ingredients to get the party going, you like Ska you'll love this. So as one track says 'Step It Up Sister', and track 2's encouragement to 'Feel A Little Better'. This is the music of summer, this is the music that reminds you of sandy beaches, the blue sea and a cool drink and dancing till late…Lee Thompson's Ska Orchestra is a must.
This awaited release is the first disc in a series of Olli Mustonen and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hannu Lintu performing the Piano Concertos by Sergei Prokofiev. Without a doubt some of the most substantial twentieth century masterworks, Prokofievs piano concertos prove the composers brilliant piano skills. The composer premiered his First Piano Concerto in 1914. The Third Piano Concerto is the most popular of Prokofievs concertos. The piece took several years to complete, and premiered in Chicago in 1921. Prokofievs Fourth Piano Concerto (for the left hand) is the most rarely heard of the three concertos featured on this recording.

Formed in the spring of 2014 under the name No Man’s Land, King Company is a band featuring cream of the crop Finnish Hard Rock scene members. Drummer Mirka "Leka" Rantanen (Raskasta Joulua, Warmen, Thunderstone, Kotipelto) had been thinking about forming a new Hard Rock/Melodic Metal band for a long time. He wanted to play with people with whom he had worked before and who he knew both as good musicians and as friends. First, he contacted guitarist Antti Wirman (Warmen) who immediately joined the band. Singer Pasi Rantanen was in Mirka's mind from the beginning, as they had played together in a couple of bands before (Thunderstone, Warmen). After keyboardist Jari Pailamo (Kiuas, Ponies To Kill) and bassist Time Schleifer (Enfarce) joined the band, this super group of sorts was finally ready to start working.
