Third Man Records is excited to announce Vault Package #51: Carole King - Home Again, recorded live on The Great Lawn of New York City's Central Park on May 26, 1973. Produced by Lou Adler and released in conjunction with Ode Records and Sony Music, Carole King Home Again is a previously unreleased concert recording and a stunning document of one of the greatest contributors to the American songbook.

Music, official name Carole King: Music, is the third album by American singer-songwriter Carole King. The album was released in December 1971 and quickly rose to the top of the charts. It features songs such as "It's Going to Take Some Time" (US No. 12 by The Carpenters), "Sweet Seasons," a No. 9 hit for Carole King, and "Brother, Brother". Carole King: Music experienced immediate success and was certified gold on December 9, 1971, days after release. It was certified platinum on July 17, 1995.

Carole King was famous as a writer of girl-group hits in the '60s. In 1971, she became more famous. That's the year Tapestry became one of the biggest-selling LPs of all time. It's easy to hear why–the music is loose, earthy, L.A. session-pop. King is casual, intimate, and tough; she covers all the emotional ground of the post-liberated woman with ease. She brings adult nuance to "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" and comes up with hits ("It's Too Late", "I Feel the Earth Move") whose white-soul realism and maturity put pop hits to shame.

With songs that are literally woven into the fabric of pop culture, Tapestry struck a universal chord, topping the Billboard 200 for 15 weeks and staying on the chart for six years. King took home four Grammy Awards for the album, including Album, Record and Song of the Year. And the songs, including “So Far Away,” “It’s Too Late,” “I Feel The Earth Move,” “You’ve Got a Friend” and others remain timeless standards and radio staples.

VH1 Divas Live brings VH1's original 1998 gathering of superstar songbirds to SACD. Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, and Shania Twain perform some of their biggest hits, including Carey's "My All", Twain's "You're Still the One", Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", and Estefan's "Turn the Beat Around". All five divas share the spotlight – to the extent that a diva can share the spotlight – on the set's finale, "Natural Woman" and "Testimony". A worthwhile set for those who want to see as well as hear their VH1 Divas Live album, the disc offers little in the way of additional features but remains a faithful translation of the special TV concert.
