This is effectively the entire studio catalogue, and includes all the American singer-songwriter’s albums recorded as John Cougar, John Cougar Mellencamp and John Mellencamp for various record labels. The set contains a total of 223 tracks and spans 35 years. Twelve of the albums have bonus tracks, sourced from the 2005 re-mastered versions of Mellencamp’s Mercury releases.

Italo disco - musical marketing term introduced in 1983 by Bernhard Mikulski, the founder of the record label ZYX Records. The term addressed to the Italian electronic dance music of the 1980s and the music from other parts of Europe and North America that imitated these sounds. A typical song Italo disco had contrasting form of verse, chorus executable, support was based on the use of the synthesizer and is usually sung in English European Italian.

Modern Talking was a German dance pop duo consisting of Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen. Genre-wise they were often classified under Europop. Modern Talking, who by sales are the most successful and popular group in Germany, have had a number of hit singles reaching the top-5 in many countries. Some of their most popular and widely known singles are "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "You Can Win If You Want", "Cheri Cheri Lady", "Brother Louie", "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)" and "Geronimo's Cadillac". Modern Talking's first period of activity was from 1984 to 1987. The duo reunified in 1998 and made a successful comeback, releasing more music from 1998 to 2003.

Here's Tom With the Weather reads the sleeve, and on Shack's fourth full-length album, the forecast calls for mostly delicate vocals, partly chiming guitars, and more-than-occasional ballads. With these twelve hushed songs, songwriter Michael Head has crafted the most relaxed album of his career. Song titles like the Lilac Time-esque "The Girl with the Long Brown Hair" and "Byrds Turn to Stone," which declares an obvious musical influence, are every bit indicative of the lilting, graceful songs they name. Head's tunes haven't felt this soft and bouncy since he fronted the the Pale Fountains, but that doesn't mean the album ever feels dull.

The Producers' two finest albums, 1981's Producers and 1982's You Make the Heat, finally made their long-awaited CD debut as a two-fer in 2000. Included are both of the band's fondly-remembered hits – "What's He Got" and "She Sheila".
