Chicago’s Chris Greene Quartet has a February 17 show at Evanston’s SPACE, the venue where, on January 18 of last year, they played a memorable gig that had patrons whooping, cheering and leaping to their feet. So it’s no surprise that the ensemble should be returning there.

Belgian pop music had its heyday during the 1980s. New groups popped up like mushrooms and stole the show every weekend in many a youth club. Supported by a radio program such as 'Vrijaf' by radio legend Gust Decoster, who also introduced the term Belpop, the popularity of Belgian music rose to previously unknown heights.
