Charlotte Schneider and Guy-Baptiste Jaccottet have been exploring since 2017 the multiple sounds offered by their combined instruments. These curious and playful musicians explore a repertoire stretching from the 16th to the 18th century, transcribing and arranging pieces for their duo. As a result, their music lies at the crossroads of historically informed performance practice and the concrete reality of instruments and places.

This is a Great Classical piece for the lovers of classical, as well as the ones who may hate it. These Adagios CDs get beter and better each time there is a new release. I must warn you there some good as well as some bad ones. There is a certain Adagio flavor for everyones.

Limited to 5000 copies. Paper sleeve. RAW SOUL, originally released as KING-1610 was James Brown's second of five album releases in 1967. The iconic "rainbow" cover was traded for a more "hip" line drawing when the album was reissued in 1970. The original 1967 UK release on Pye International had it's own unique jacket as well. All subsequent CD issues reverted to the original art. The album was the usual mix of recent single releases with two cuts (3 & 8) from the unreleased (at the time) OUT OF SIGHT and one rare (for Brown at the time) LP only track (10).

In 1925, when the Charleston was all the rage, Fletcher Henderson, generally credited as "the inventor, of big-band jazz", was still firmly installed at the New York's celebrated Roseland Ballroom, and calling upon the services of such jazz star as Louis Armstrong, Busier Bailey, Don Redman and Coleman Hawkins.
