Nathan Flomm est un ancien responsable marketing d'une entreprise de voitures électriques mis à la porte suite à une dispute avec son patron. Dix ans plus tard, Nathan a changé son nom pour celui de Rory DaVore et s'est exilé sur une petite île bordant le Massachusetts.
