Part of an extensive line of budget compilations from Sony, this Billy Ocean volume includes the singer's three number one pop hits – "Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)," "There'll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry)," and "Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car" – as well as seven other significant songs from his '80s albums for Epic and Jive. It's not particularly in-depth – it's certainly not as thorough as 2004's Ultimate Collection – but it does feature most of Ocean's big hits, which also include "Nights (Feel Like Gettin' Down)," "Suddenly," and "Love Zone." Some S.O.U.L. releases are marred by inferior live material, but this set consists of the original studio recordings.

Featuring Badfinger, Slade, The Move, Stealers Wheel, Pilot, Dave Edmunds, Brinsley Schwarz, Honeybus, The Kinks, The Who, etc. While the early 70s musical landscape in Britain was largely dominated by introspective singer/songwriters, Bubblegum Pop and underground Rock bands, a handful of acts bravely continued to pursue the classic mid-60s group sound. With the aid of increasingly sophisticated recording studios, they majored in crisp, muscular, hook-laden three-minute pop songs, bursting with chiming Rickenbacker guitars, irresistible choruses and Beatles/Beach Boys-inspired close harmonies. A few (Slade, Pilot, the ill-starred Badfinger) found commercial success, but the likes of Starry Eyed And Laughing, Shape Of The Rain and Octopus proved to be the right bands at the wrong time - too late for the British Invasion that had swept America in the mid-60s, too early to hitch a ride on the late 70s Power Pop bandwagon.

Unison is the 15th studio album by Canadian singer Celine Dion and her first studio album recorded in English. The album was originally released on 2 April 1990 by Columbia Records. Its music incorporates a range of contemporary genres with a mix of ballads and dance songs. Dion worked with a range of professional writers and producers, including Christopher Neil, David Foster, Tom Keane and Andy Goldmark. Upon release, the album received generally positive reviews from music critics, who complimented Dion's voice and technique, as well as the album's content. On the commercial level, Unison reached top ten in Norway and top twenty in Canada. Eventually, it was certified seven-times Platinum in Canada, Platinum in the United States, and Gold in the United Kingdom and France. The album has sold over three million copies worldwide. In 1991, Unison won Juno Award for Album of the Year and Dion won Juno Award for Female Vocalist of the Year.

The Colour of My Love is the third English-language studio album by Canadian recording artist Celine Dion. It was released by Columbia Records/550 Music on 9 November 1993. The songs were produced mainly by David Foster, Ric Wake, Guy Roche, Walter Afanasieff and Christopher Neil, and four of them were written by Diane Warren. The album features cover versions of "The Power of Love" and "When I Fall in Love".

Thirty years ago, U96 released the album "Das Boot". The title track of the same name stayed at number 1 in the German single charts for months and was sold more than a million times. More hits like "Club Bizarre" or "Love Religion" followed. At the end of the 90s, U96 finally went their separate ways. In the mid-10s, Hayo Lewerenz and Ingo Hauss revived the project and released two albums, including one with ex-Kraftwerker Wolfgang Flür. Now, together with actor Claude-Oliver Rudolph, "20.000 Meilen Unter Dem Meer", based on Jules Verne's classic of the same name, is thematically going back to the roots in the underwater world. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of "Das Boot" there is also a FullDome Planetariums show in Hamburg, which offers a mixture of virtual underwater worlds passing by on LEDs, actors (including Claude-Oliver Rudolph) and live music.
