2009 two CD set containing a pair of albums from the Country superstar, originally released on the United Artists and Liberty labels at the height of his worldwide popularity between 1976 and 1983. Though Rogers achieved success at the tail end of the '60s with his band The First Edition, it wasn't until he fully crossed over into the Country market that international fame came calling. Ironically, his move away from the Pop charts actually brought him more success once Country Music began to crossover into the same market he had initially given up on. Contains the albums Daytime Friends (1977) and Love Or Something Like It (1978). Both albums were produced by Larry Butler with the cream of Nashville's session musicians, as well as Elvis Presley's backing singers The Jordanaires.

NYCNYUSA is an improvement over 1976's lackluster Night Fever, but not by much. It suffers from the same problem that plagues many of the albums in the Fatback catalog: While the group has no problem generating solid grooves, they often have trouble translating them into enough solid songs to sustain an album. Inconsistent material continues to be a problem on NYCNYUSA: "Spank the Baby" layers a chant that is inane even by disco standards over a repetitive jam while "Duke Walk" sinks the pleasant quality of its pop-reggae feel with a dull arrangement that lacks any interesting twists and turns. Another problem track is "Cosmic Woman," which fails to make to good on the promise of its interesting title due to uninspired lyrics and a humdrum groove.

The Dells teamed with arrangers Ron Kersey, T.G. Conway and Allan Felder, songwriters such as (future Temptation) Ron Tyson and top Philly session musicians for the album, much in-demand by their many fans worldwide who consider this as one of their best group's best recordings of the '70's.

That track is "I Can't Stop Loving You", recorded during the afternoon performance at Madison Square Garden on June 10, 1972; the remainder of the concert remained unreleased until the 1990s when it was issued as An Afternoon in the Garden. Welcome to My World was certified Gold on September 30, 1977 and Platinum on January 14, 1983 by the RIAA. One track, Your Cheatin' Heart, dated back 19 years.
