Cryonic Temple In Thy Power (2005)

After the successful and highly acclaimed release of their latest, in total 3rd, studio recording entitled “In Thy Power” the band went through some necessary line-up changes as well as time off for writing new songs. Now the time is right for CRYONIC TEMPLE, to release their fourth album entitled “Immortal”. The new line-up consists of guitarists Esa Ahonen and Leif Collin, teamed up with the new singer Magnus Thurin (ex Mindscape), whose vocal style is influenced by Michael Kiske, Geoff Tate and Tony Martin.

Cryonic Temple was founded in 1996 in Dalarna, Sweden. Together with Orphan Gypsy and Sabaton they are considered the originators of the new Power Metal wave in the early 2000s. Through the years they performed at festivals suchs as Sweden Rock Festival, HeadBangers Open Air, Sabaton Open Air, Peace And Love, Gothenburg Metal Festival, Motala Metal Festival, 2000 Decibel and many more. Cryonic Temple have also opened for Uriah Heep, Saxon, Tad Morose, Civil War, Lion’s Share and Paul Di’Anno. After 9 years of silence the band is finally going to release their 5th album on Scarlet Records. ‘Into The Glorious Battle’ is Cryonic Temple’s first concept album, an exciting story taking place in the future, made of the most dynamic songs the band have ever composed, still deeply rooted in the Power Metal genre but also open to new influences and sounds, including mind-blowing ballads. With this album Cryonic Temple find themselves at the top of their game.

Heavy/Power Metal band Cryonic Temple was founded in 1996 in Dalarna, Sweden. The heart of Cryonic Temple is singer Glen Metal whose voice sounds very similar to Steve Grimmet (Grim Reaper) and guitarist Esa "Freewheeler" Ahonen, whose traditional way of playing his instrument is marked by the drive of K.K. Downing (Judas Priest). After their first album - Chapter I, Underground Symphony Records - this talented band returns to kick our a**. In order to have the best possible conditions for their second album - Blood, Guts & Glory - the band signed a contract with Limb Music Products. As they had for their debut album, they again worked with Pelle Saether as producer and the result speaks for itself : explosive !!!
