Since 2002 and in a 2-year cycle, Marillion welcome their dedicated fans to a very special weekend: the Marillion weekend. On three nights, Marillion perform three different shows with different setlists consisting of full records played from start to finish, fan favourites and rarities. Fans travel from all over the world to be part of these truly amazing nights. From Friday 20th March to Sunday 22nd March the Marillion weekend took place at Center Parcs, Port Zélande, The Netherlands. On Saturday night Marillion performed one of their best and most successful albums… Marbles! With their imposing live show containing stunning projections and laser effects, Marillion once again proved to be one of the leading audio-visual musicians of the present time.

Arch Enemy we be releasing a new live DVD, As the Stages Burn!, in March 2017. The footage will show Arch Enemy’s largest stage production to date from the band’s Wacken Open Air set last summer. As the Stages Burn! marks the pinnacle of Arch Enemy’s War Eternal cycle — the band’s first record with former Agonist vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. Arch Enemy gave fans a DVD, War Eternal Tour: Tokyo Sacrifice, earlier this year, but the Wacken set captured for this next DVD is expected to exceed previous releases.

It’s an almost hackneyed notion, the general life and times of many bands. The fortuitous debut album that strikes gold, the make-or-break sophomore effort and finally, that much-scrutinized third LP. Dutch art rockers Mister and Mississippi aren’t claiming to be the exception to the rule. Albeit from purely a musical vantage point, the band has – by all means – opted for a new creative trajectory. Third LP ‘Mirage’ employs a darker, heavier undercurrent of synths, bass and drums lurking beneath the group’s well-established sonorous majesty and crisp vocals. There’s a more ominous, acidic punch to the music’s structure, dynamics and growth, marking a radical stylistic shift from the palliative, simmering indie folk prevalent on Mister and Mississippi’s previous two albums.

The 32 Piano Sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven are often referred to as the ‘New Testament’ of the keyboard literature, following on the ‘Old Testament’ of J.S. Bach's 48 preludes and fugues in the Well-Tempered Clavier. Composed over a period of almost three decades, from 1795 to 1822, the sonatas constitute a fascinating panorama of an artistic career which underwent numerous changes – not to say upheavals – but nevertheless remained remarkably consistent.
