This one is a very strange Quad mix. It was the only Santana Quad mix not to be released on Quad 8track.
Some claim it's a fake Quad mix, but I have pinpointed a few moments that there are guitars in the rears and keyboards in the front sharing the same frequencies, so the veredict is open.
As it is , I don't think they would have even bothered with a fake quad mix.
It features a song that I always liked as a kid and somehow I had NEVER heard on the radio or anywhere else until I bought this LP 2 years ago! "See the Light".
Even so, the sonics are spectacular and the wash of reverb in "Dance Sister Dance"is great!
As with all Santana releases, the percussion makes this a wonderful Surround experience.Brought to you in Separate files, in BOTH:Hi Resolution DVD-Audio (ONLY-no Dolby or DTS DVD);

Texas Cannonball is the 1972 album by American blues guitarist and singer Freddie King. Originally released on Shelter Records, this was remastered by Robert Vosgien for the DVD-A format (24bit/96Khz) in 2002 on Hi-Res Music and features seven tracks not on the original album.

Greatest Hits is the 1970 compilation album by Sly & The Familty Stone. This is taken from the UK 8-track tape and is an ISO file for the DVD-Audio format. (NOTE: The photo used for the cover is definitely not Sly & The Family Stone but that is what was used.)

Goodnight Vienna is the 1974 album by Richard Starkey, who you may better know as Ringo Starr. This is taken from the original quadraphonic mix and was released as a fan-made DVD-Audio (DVD-A) disc sometime in 2008 by QQCC. This also features a bonus track in the form of a demo of "Snookeroo" done by Elton John'

Penchant For Buggery is the 2003 DVD-A by Kevin Moo, who is better known under the pseudonym Daddy Kev. It features the album in 24bit/96kHz stereo and 5.1 surround sound. This was the 3rd disc in Myutopia Recordings' The Cell Series (Cell:Three).

"The Six Wives of Henry VIII" is the first studio album from the English keyboardist Rick Wakeman, originally released in January 1973 on A&M Records. It is an instrumental progressive rock album with its concept based on his interpretations of the musical characteristics of the six wives of Henry VIII. Wakeman decided on the concept in 1972 while he toured the United States with the progressive rock band Yes. As he read a book about the wives on his travels, melodies he had written the previous year came to him and were noted down. Musicians from Yes and Strawbs, who he performed with prior to Yes, also play on the album.

In May 2012, Steven Wilson announced that he had recently remixed two classic albums by ELP, their first (eponymous) album from 1970 and second album Tarkus from 1971. Both albums were subsequently released by Sony 27 August 2012 as 3 disc sets. In each case disc one is a CD of the original mix, disc two is a CD of the stereo remix in the form of an alternate version of the album, adding a lot of bonus material and previously undiscovered tracks recorded during the sessions. Disc 3 is a DVD-Audio containing lossless 5.1 surround sound mixes and high resolution versions of the 2012 stereo mixes.
