Cheat Codes is Danger Mouse’s first hip-hop album in seventeen years - since his 2005 DangerDOOM collaboration with the late, great MF DOOM - and Black Thought’s only full length collaboration beyond his pioneering music in The Roots. On No Gold Teeth, Danger Mouse’s soulful, freewheeling production serves as the perfect backdrop to Black Thought’s metronomic, pin-sharp and chorus-free lyrical deluge. The result is a dizzying, thrilling opening single from two of contemporary music’s most respected artists.

Danger Mouse and Jemini Finally Releasing 2004 Album Born Again.Danger Mouse and Jemini are finally releasing their collaborative sophomore album, Born Again. Recorded between 2003 and 2004, the LP will drop on August 25 via Lex Records. The famed producer and New York rapper are previewing the album with new song “Brooklyn Basquiat,” which you can hear below. Back in 2003, Danger Mouse and Jemini unveiled their debut full-length together, Ghetto Pop Life, to underground fanfare. The two immediately returned to the studio to hash out new material together, and those recording sessions would culminate in Born Again less than a year later. But the LP was indefinitely shelved, making its release nearly 20 years later the first time these songs will be heard. Last year, Danger Mouse shared his collaborative album with Black Thought, Cheat Codes. It includes the singles “No Gold Teeth,” “Aquamarine” (with Michael Kiwanuka), “Strangers” (featuring A$AP Rocky and Run the Jewels), and “Because” (with Joey Bada$$, Russ, and Dylan Cartlidge).

Danger Mouse & Jemini to finally release 2004 album ‘Born Again’. The producer, musician and songwriter (real name Brian Joseph Burton) teamed up with Brooklyn rapper Jemini (aka Jemini The Gifted One) to make the collaborative record almost 20 years ago.

Icons Karen O and Danger Mouse (a.k.a. Brian Burton) release their first recording as a duo, Lux Prima. The song is the first to be released from a forthcoming joint album. “After making music for the past twenty years and embarking on making this record with Brian I knew a couple things: one was that the spirit of collaboration between us was going to be a pure one, and two was that the more I live the less is clear to me,” said O. “When you create from a blurry place you can go places further than you’ve ever been. I think we both were excited to go far out.” In addition to four albums with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and a solo album, Crush Songs, Grammy-nominated O has contributed to soundtracks for Where The Wild Things Are and Her, for which she was nominated for an Oscar. Grammy-winning artist Danger Mouse’s projects include Gnarls Barkley, Broken Bells and Danger Doom as well as work with Adele, Gorillaz, ASAP Rocky and beyond.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O and producer Danger Mouse have detailed their new collaborative album. Lux Prima arrives March 15 via BMG, and is led by the new single “Woman.”
