Daniel Zamir

Daniel Zamir is a saxophonist, vocalist composer, and bandleader. Though he often plays alto, the soprano horn is considered his primary instrument. His blend of modern jazz draws as much from klezmer, liturgical, and Hasidic traditional music, the rhythms of India and West Africa, as it does from jazz.

Daniel Zamir is probably one of the most influencial and busy musicians in Israel. Zamir is a virtuoso sax player / composer of what could be defined as “Jewish Jazz”, fusing together elements of Jewish sounds and high quality jazz, together with ethnic and world music elements. Zamir’s albums are the most successful jazz albums ever to be recorded in Israel, with high acclaim from the media and critics and with tremendous sellings.

Born in 1994, Tomer Bar has already published 3 albums as a jazz composer, pianist, and singer. His first album, "Memories" (2007) with bassist Yorai Oron and drummer Eitan Itzkovitz, two of the most busy musicians in Israel, interduced Tomer, with 7 original "straight ahead" jazz compositions.

Dekel Bor is an Israeli jazz guitarist and composer. He started playing guitar at age 15. As student at Thelma Yelin High-School of Arts, Bor studied jazz history, ear training and theory. During his studies, he played with fellow students Eli Degibri, Avishai Cohen, Daniel Zamir and others, and performed throughout Israel.
