Active as a solo recording artist between the years of 1975-1981, Chris Rainbow wrote and recorded three very highly regarded albums, Home Of the Brave (1975), Looking Over My Shoulder (1978) and this release, his third full length recording, White Trails (1979), as well as a collection of singles throughout his valued career. Chris Rainbow also worked extensively adding vocal contributions to artists’ work of the calibre of The Alan Parsons Project, Culture Club, Elaine Paige and Toyah Wilcox, as well as producing albums for the likes of Scottish Gaelic rock group Runrig.
Features the sought after bonus tracks ‘Body Music’ (7” Version), ‘Girl In Collision’ (12” Version) and ‘Body Music’ (12” Version). All material has been fully remastered especially for this release.

The English veteran’s album tally reaches 20 with this release, and appropriately it’s one of his finest, an exquisitely played distillation of standards from both sides of the Atlantic, with a brace of originals for ballast. Well-worn favourites like Rufford Park Poachers and Blues Run the Game are presented in polished form, with Simpson’s virtuoso guitar and banjo tailored and layered by producer Andy Bell, plus classy guest accompaniments. Highlights include a cavernous version of Emily Portman’s Bones and Feathers, while Maps is a glance back at a 1950s childhood and Ridgeway evokes England’s ancient past. A master musician on top of his game.

Lost in the Riots are a four-piece instrumental post-rock band founded in Watford, United Kingdom in 2010. They are somewhat of an orchestral/post-rock take on their town's hardcore music scene, specializing in energetic pieces of guitar-led post-rock. Their lineup consists of Adam Edwards, James Cook, Robbie Parmenter and Andy Curd. They released their debut EP Sinking Ships in 2011.
