David Bowie’s 1997 live album LiveAndWell.Com is being released on streaming services for the first time. The album, which was recorded at performances in New York, Amsterdam, Rio De Janeiro, and the United Kingdom during the Earthling tour, was originally released in 2000 via BowieNet, the late singer-songwriter’s pre-Y2K ISP, which doubled as a fan club and an early music-oriented social network. LiveAndWell.Com has been updated with two bonus tracks that weren't on the original release—“Pallas Athena” and “V-2 Schneider”—and it’s the first in a series of ’90s-era Bowie live recordings to be released this year. It arrives May 15 via Parlophone.

The Brilliant Adventure EP, building off the 1992-2001 Era box set of the same name, offers four previously unreleased cuts: an early version of "I'm Afraid of Americans" called "Johnny Downloader" recorded during the 1. Outside sessions with Brian Eno and mixed in November 1994; an alternative single mix of the album's "I Have Not Been to Oxford Town;" a live version of another Outside track, "A Small Plot of Land;" and a cover of Jacques Brel's "My Death." The latter two tracks were performed by Bowie accompanied by his longtime collaborator/pianist Mike Garson at a fundraiser for the Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival in New York City on September 18, 1995. The EP will be issued on 12-inch vinyl and CD.

The Concert for New York City was a benefit concert, featuring many famous musicians, that took place on October 20, 2001 at Madison Square Garden in New York City in response to the September 11, 2001 attacks. The concert was organized by Paul McCartney and included many of his legendary British contemporaries, including The Who, Rolling Stones bandmates Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, David Bowie, Elton John, and Eric Clapton. Heathen (stylised as uǝɥʇɐǝɥ) is the 22nd studio album by English musician David Bowie. It was considered a comeback for him in the US market by becoming his highest charting album since Tonight (1984). It also earned strong reviews. The BBC said the album's title track "shows that Bowie could still pen disarmingly direct, affecting pop of a very individual inclination 30-plus years after he started". Worldwide, it sold more than two million copies and experienced a four-month run on the UK charts. The album has also been released in SACD format in a limited number of copies with slightly longer versions of five of the songs.

Young Americans is the ninth studio album by the English musician David Bowie, released on 7 March 1975 by RCA Records. The album marked a departure from the glam rock style of Bowie's previous albums, showcasing his interest in soul and R&B music. Bowie would call the album's sound "plastic soul", describing it as "the squashed remains of ethnic music as it survives in the age of Muzak rock, written and sung by a white limey". Initial recording sessions took place in Philadelphia with producer Tony Visconti and a variety of musicians, including guitarist Carlos Alomar, who would become one of Bowie's most frequent collaborators, and singer Luther Vandross. Bowie drew influence from the sound of "local dance halls", which were blaring with the "lush strings, sliding hi-hat whispers, and swanky R&B rhythms of Philadelphia Soul". Later sessions took place in New York City, including contributions from John Lennon. Although Bowie was among the first English pop musicians of the era to overtly engage with black musical styles, the album was very successful in the US; the album itself reached the Top 10 in the Billboard charts, with the song "Fame" hitting the number-one the same year the album was released. It was generally well received by critics. In 2013, New Musical Express ranked the album at No. 175 in its list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

"Blackstar" (stylised as ★) is the 26th and final studio album by English musician David Bowie. The release date for the album coincides with David's birthday. David Bowie steers further away from rock with "Blackstar". Instead, Bowie ventures into experimental rock and even dabbles in jazz themes. In the years following his death, commentators have named "Blackstar" one of Bowie's greatest albums, and was included in the 2018 edition of Robert Dimery's book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
