Carnegie Hall is betting you like him a lot as it has collaborated with Sony to prepare this 10-CD set, The Original Jacket Collection: Bernstein Conducts Bernstein. It contains every album Bernstein made of his own music for CBS Records, beginning with his 1950 recording of the Symphony No. 2, "The Age of Anxiety" – predating his tenure with the New York Philharmonic by nearly a decade – to the ballet Dybbuk in 1974, recorded with the New York City Ballet Orchestra several years after his departure.

Best known as a superior and advanced cool-toned trumpeter, Tom Harrell shows throughout this consistently brilliant set that he has also developed into an excellent composer and a particularly talented arranger. All ten songs and arrangements are his, and the music both swings and is quite original. Harrell doubles on flügelhorn and utilizes a wide variety of interesting musicians, including clarinetist Greg Tardy (who plays beautifully on the opening "Petals Danse"), acoustic guitarist Romero Lumbambo (heard on the more Brazilian-oriented numbers), the great free bop tenor Dewey Redman, pianist Danilo Perez, electric guitarist Mike Stern, tenorman David Sanchez, and several strings (including Regina Carter) among others.

„Stay Tuned“ is an Allstars-charity project, founded by austrian drummer Bernhard Welz in 2011. Bernhard Welz has been touring all over Europe with many of the performing artists before. When the idea came up to produce a record for a good cause, many of these artists confirmed to be part of it. After a while, it developed it´s own dynamics, and finally even more artists, than basically planned, contributed to the project. „Stay Tuned 1.5“ – a mix between Rock & Ballads, whose net-income will be donated to the Linda McCartney Breast cancer Trust. All these international artists on the album support the fight against cancer and are part of this project…
