Another winner for author, Debra Webb! This story is a suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat type read. Sarah and Tom are married but have not been together for a long time… their marriage disintegrated when their daughter vanished five years prior to the start of this book. She was never found, and they both barely exist by trying to deal with the pain by just working. Sarah is a detective and Tom is an FBI agent. When they start to work a case together, life gets harder.

I started reading Depraved, the 10th book in the Faces of Evil series, and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Debra Webb has kept us sitting on the edge of our seats while reading the Faces of Evil series. Each book has left us waiting for the next to see what happens. I don’t want to reveal too much because the suspense is part of what makes a suspense story so good.
