In order to celebrate their 20 year anniversary LACUNA COIL and Century Media Records have compiled a limited box-set entitled "The Presence of the Past (XX Years of Lacuna Coil)" including all of their studio albums as well as selected live material, rare songs and b-sides on 13 discs. The box-set will come with a luxurious booklet that will not only give you all lyrics, but also historical photos and liner-notes. For Italy's LACUNA COIL, turning 20 will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, not only for the Milan-based outfit, but also for their diehard fans around the globe.

The Charleston Chasers existed only as a studio recording ensemble, first as another way of saying Red Nichols & His 5 Pennies, then as Columbia's all-purpose jazz machine. Nichols himself appeared on the 1927 and 1928 recordings, while Miff Mole, stern emperor of the trombone, held everyone together over several years' worth of solid jazz, beginning in 1925 with "Red Hot Henry Brown" and its flip side, "Loud Speakin' Papa." Celebrate The Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer’s 50th Anniversary With A Vinyl Set Featuring Steven Wilson’s Remixes Of Five Classic Albums: The Yes Album, Fragile, Close To The Edge, Relayer And The Double Album, Tales From Topographic Oceans. YES mark their 50th anniversary this year and release YES: THE STEVEN WILSON REMIXES which spotlights five studio albums that helped secure the band’s recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Wes Montgomery was reunited with his brothers Monk and Buddy on this 1961 Riverside session, which also features drummer Bobby Thomas. The guitarist and his brothers are in great form throughout the session in spite of the less-than-ideal piano provided. According to producer Orrin Keepnews, Buddy Montgomery originally intended to split his time on the date between vibes and piano, but the failure of the motor on the former instrument caused him to spend most of his time at the keyboard. The highlight of the evening in the studio is a foot-tapping version of Carl Perkins' "Groove Yard," followed closely by a wild ride through Harold Land's "Delirium." The leader contributed the soulful hard bop work "Doujie." The pianist wrote the driving "Just for Now" and the easygoing blues "Bock to Bock."

The old legend Coupla Prog originally published this album in 1972. "Death Is A Great Gambler" is a refined, ecclectic krautrock album dominated by Hammond organs, solid guitar rythms and frantic technical drums. 1st CD is full of the compositions and arrangements of Malcolm McLaren including his original lyrics and most often his spoken contributions to the pieces. He is certainly a creative musician and conceptual artist. The remake of Serge Gainsbourg's "Je T'Aime …Moi Non Plus" is very well done.
