Laser Turntable Demonstration CD is a demonstration compact disc created for the laser turntable made by the ELP Corporation of Japan. This is a turntable where the record is played with a laser and when first sold, a model went for close to 15,000 GPS ($20,000 US). The price hasn't changed but it has moved people into investing in this digital phonograph. This was one of the first demonstrations made for it.

Today, as in the past, public demonstrations are not only tools to prove, persuade, and promote, but also fundamental forms of social interaction and exchange.
