Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of this 1981 release from the German Industrial band. The concert featured on Disc Two took place at Haus Blumenthal in Krefeld 1981 and was recorded by a Japanese gentleman, Agi Yuzuru, a journalist, happened to be in Europe to report on the new music that was emerging everywhere - but foremostly in Germany. A tour with DAF, Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft, promoting their 'Alles ist gut' Album at the time, was to follow in June of '81, which cemented DIE KRUPPS' reputation as being a fine live-band, and which established them as a force to be reckoned with. Now, 30 years later, DIE KRUPPS are still in existence, touring and playing to fanatic audiences across the globe. There is no end to infinity. The complete concert is made available here for the first time.
2 CD set with over two hours of mind wasting machine from the last decades. Includes Front 242, DAF, Die Krupps, Nitzer Ebb and many more.
"…Gold closes out on a fantastic note with "Verschwende Deine Jugend," a full-on destructive beast in the "Der Mussolini" mode, and "Greif Nach den Sternen," a steady-paced, almost anthemic number with the trademark D.A.F. blend of brusqueness still intact."
"After the near-apocalyptic shrieks of Ein Produkt, DAF toned down just a touch, but only just, for Kleinen und die Bösen. Coming out on Mute as the album did, it helped not merely in establishing the group's cachet, but the label's and, in turn, the whole genre of experimental electronic music in the '80s and beyond. (…) The musicians themselves sound like they decided to borrow Wire's sense of quick songs while cranking the amps to ten; the resultant combination of feedback crunch and electronic brutality is, at times, awesome to behold."
"Stripped down to the core duo of Robert Görl and Gabi Delgado and with Conny Plank again behind the boards with crisp, focused production, with Alles Ist Gut (Everything Is Fine) DAF turned into an honest-to-goodness German hit machine. (…) With songs like "Als Wär's das Letzte Mal" and "Alle Gegen Alle" leading the way, though, DAF mainly concentrate on head-on assaults to brilliant effect."
