Leaving behind the brooding, introspective mood of Friends In Danger, Magic Dirt discharge fiercely with the iconic Young And Full Of The Devil, an album of raw power, beauty and assured chaos. Released in April 1998 and drenched in trademark Magic Dirt guitar sounds, and the ever present maelstrom of guttural, desperate vocals, Young And Full Of The Devil is also a return to their earlier more melodic roots. Lyrically it explores personal demons, rebellion, and surviving dysfunctional families. Written over a few months in a flurry of creativity in their rundown 90's share house in Melbourne, the band were focussed on building a new momentum.

Retrospective 1995–2005 is Natalie Merchant's first greatest hits album, featuring her most popular songs. It was released on 27 September 2005 on Elektra Records. This deluxe edition version included a second disc with B-sides and rarities.

Five-decades-running Americana pioneers Nitty Gritty Dirt Band have already played a major role in the preservation and popularity of folk music—their Will The Circle Be Unbroken album series introduced droves of new fans to folk, country, and bluegrass and earned the band multiple Grammy awards—but now, the long-running group have taken on another American institution near and dear to their hearts; the Bob Dylan songbook.

This collection of all-new recordings revisits Merchant's multi-platinum solo debut, "Tigerlily", originally released in 1995 following her departure from 10,000 Maniacs. "Paradise Is There" presents the songs as they have evolved over the past two decades of live performance. Joining Merchant on the album, which she produced herself, are her long-time band members Gabriel Gordon (guitar), Jesse Murphy (bass), Uri Sharlin (piano & accordion), and Allison Miller (drums), as well as a string quartet—Scot Moore (violin), Shawn Moore (violin), Marandi Hostetter (viola), and Stanley Moore (cello)—plus Sharel Cassity (saxophone) and guest vocals by Simi Stone, Gail Ann Dorsey, and Elizabeth Mitchell.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, on May 20, 2022, will release Dirt Does Dylan, a 10-track album highlighting songs from Bob Dylan’s catalog. The recording features three new band members: fiddler Ross Holmes; singer-songwriter and bass player Jim Photoglo (who wrote one of the Dirt Band’s biggest hits, “Fishin’ in the Dark”) and Dirt Band founder Jeff Hanna’s son, singer and guitarist Jaime Hanna.

A three-record set spanning the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's career from its first album in 1967 to 1976, Dirt, Silver and Gold features all of the band's hits, including "Buy for Me the Rain," "Mr. Bojangles," "Battle of New Orleans," and the historic "Will the Circle Be Unbroken." The compilation also showcased many odds and ends (hence the "Dirt" in the title) that blend in nicely with the rest of the selections. If anyone is wondering about the Dirt Band pre-1976, this excellent collection is where they should begin.
