Percy Faith was a Canadian bandleader, orchestrator, composer and conductor, known for his lush arrangements of pop and Christmas standards. He is often credited with popularizing the "easy listening" or "mood music" format. Faith became a staple of American popular music in the 1950s and continued well into the 1960s. Though best known for his recording career, Faith also occasionally scored motion pictures. This Dutton Vocalion's reissue compilation features 2LP on 1SACD - "Chinatown" (1974) & "Love Theme from "Romeo and Juliet" (1969).

Reckless Faith is Christian Rock group originally from Calgary, Alberta in Canada. "Lonely Season" begins with some questionable ambguity, but comes in with a good beat and riff after about 30 seconds. "Curse the Sun" is a nice acoustic Ballad if you are into that. "Love Drug" and "Compassion" are good rock tunes and "Hands of Cain" is a unique ballad, as well / Lyrically, their songs are good across the board. The only one that doesn't seem to have much of a message is "100 Flowers." However, it should not be written off, I think that's the most catchy tune on the CD.

Though the band had a brief and rough history, "Blind Faith" was a successful album, peaking at #1 on both the UK Albums Chart and the Billboard Pop Albums chart in 1969 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. On a list by Rolling Stone of "The 30 Greatest One Album Wonders", Blind Faith was at number 14.
