“Midnight Ball (Éjféli Bál)” was the second official CD of the band, released in 2011. On the 10th anniversary of the CD release, the band decided to re-arrange and re-record the album, this time with English lyrics. This CD edition contains the new versions of the original nine songs, and two new ones for which there is no previous Hungarian version, also released on the LP version. Another Midnight Ball is based on the novel Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. Legacy of a Pharaoh was inspired by Boleslaw Prus’ novel, Pharaoh. I’ll Be One of the Gods was inspired by the Book of the Dead. Matthew 26:47 is an excerpt from the Gospel of Matthew.

The McCoys' musical approach took a 180-degree turn with these two albums, which blended psychedelic meanderings with jazz piano pieces, country melodies, sunny pop, extended blues workouts, and a few pieces that defy conventional explanation…
