The second stop on the musical journey of Dos, took us to a new place where the third element of the group, acoustics, has changed. All this has given us new emotions and different stresses in our relating with sound. It was a stimulating and constructive challenge as was our first album. Yet another "snapshot" of an unrepeatable moment and authentic. Recording an album with Fonè represents a tough and exciting challenge. It's a way of recording that allows you to capture the magic and fragility of the music, which in turn should be used with extreme care and precision.

The artistic adventure of DOS goes on, after the successful experience of the debut album that marked the beginning of an artistic bond between the voice of Eleonora Bianchini and the double bass played by Enzo Pietropaoli.

This album is part of the recordings made on the occasion of the concerts of the first edition of the fonè Music Festival Piaggio 2019. The concerts organized by fonè's Giulio Cesare Ricci were held at the Piaggio Auditorium located inside the famous Museum in Pontedera, the place where Piaggio was born and where it still continues to produce today.

Enzo Pietropaoli premieres his album The Princess in DSD from Fonè. A crescendo of songs that testify to the wide range of musical passions throughout a lifetime: from John Lennon to Bob Dylan, Cole Porter to Peter Gabriel, from Neil Young to Pearl Jam, topped off with The Beach Boys — all brought together and punctuated by Pietropaoli's original compositions.

Enzo Pietropaoli is an Italian jazz bassist. In 1961 he moved to Rome and then debuted professionally in 1975 with "Trio Di Roma" (Danilo Rea and Roberto Gatto). As the title states, on this release Pietropaoli performs a collection of songs by himself. The album includes covers of Bob Marley, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, and more. Some originals are also peppered throughout.

A trumpet, a guitar and a bass. The absence of the battery immediately brings to mind the last Chet Baker, a chamber size, intimate and sensual. The music was "photographed" in the wonderful acoustics of the theater "Persius Flaccus" of Volterra, waiting for the bells of the five ceased, or that the thunder of a storm at the end of summer subside.

This album features the new renditions of the historic theme signed by Henry Mancini, performed for Fonè label by Scott Halmiton’s trio with Paolo Birro and Alfred Kramer, Fausto Mesolella, Enzo Pietropaoli, Eleonora Bianchini, Riccardo Zegna and Giampaolo Casati, Peo Alfonsi and Salvatore Malore.
