Following the release of Encores 1 on June 1st, Nils Frahm releases of Encores 2, the second in a series of EPs following the release of the universally acclaimed album, All Melody, released in January of this year.

UMG will remaster, expand and reissue the six albums the group cut between 1980 and 1991 for the Chrysalis and EMI labels. Each album is sourced from new DSD masters from original U.S. analog tapes, transferred in 24-bit high definition and feature CD-sized reprints of the original inner LP sleeves and Japanese obi strips. (The outer jackets have been replicated as well, with 1982's Picture This utilizing an alternate design released in Japan at the time.) There's 44 bonus tracks among the reissues, from tracks that appeared on previous expanded editions and international pressings to versions making their debuts on CD for the first time. (Sports, the group's 1983 breakthrough, becomes a 2CD set in honor of its 40th anniversary!) Also coming is a CD/DVD Greatest Hits: Japanese Singles Collection that will include 19 of the group's singles released during this time in Japan plus a DVD of 23 rare and commercially unreleased promo videos.

These recordings that celebrate those 20 years are aptly called The Independent Years. They are a collection of rare and unreleased recordings from live concerts and TV shows and demonstrate what it takes to be a successful musician and songwriter. Real talent is much rarer than people imagine. And in Paul Carrack that talent is here to be heard in all its raw emotion. Each Paul Carrack show is different, he sings how he feels, with the ability to channel those emotions to his many fans.

Nils Frahm announces the release of Encores 3 on 20 September 2019, the third and final instalment of his Encores series. The three EPs will be available as one full length release titled All Encores featuring 80 minutes of music on 18 October, to follow his masterful 2018 album All Melody. Whilst Encores 1 focused on an acoustic pallet of sounds with solo piano and harmonium at the core, and Encores 2 explored more ambient landscapes, now Encores 3 sees Nils expand on the percussive and electronic elements in his work.

Although ideas from quantum physics play an important role in many parts of modern mathematics, there are few books about quantum mechanics aimed at mathematicians. This book introduces the main ideas of quantum mechanics in language familiar to mathematicians.
