The Power of the One Album is in honor of my friend, our P-Funk engineer, Mr. Jim Vitti, whom we lost on April 30, 2020. His expertise & fearless exploration helped expand our goals & broaden how we looked at a Funkless World that saw us as just Nasty. Jim on the other hand saw fertilizer, so he helped nurture the Sound that would eventually feed the planet. Funkateers & non-Funkateers were & still are starving for a voice & sounds that should be universal to us all. We Promise to Funk, the Whole Funk & Nothin’ but the Funk!. R.I.P. our dear brother “Jim Vitti” 4ever we love u.
