Entrevista Com o Demonio

Fictionalized account of the adventures of hired gunman Antonio das Mortes, set against the real life last days of rural banditism. The movie follows Antonio as he witnesses the descent of common rural worker Manuel into a life of crime, joining the gang of Antonio's sworn enemy, Corisco the Blond Devil (Othon Bastos), and the Pedra Bonita Massacre.

It is one year since nuclear war rolled over the world. Humanity has forgotten who won the war. The 850 survivors have herded together atop the arctic circle. There, underneath an insulated dome, they have succumbed to a group psychosis, clinging to the hope that a vessel called "The Ark" is en route to rescue them from their hell. Meanwhile, a subtle class system develops based around silver coins called "Arks," and those without die from malnutrition and exposure. As the protective dome begins to erode, morals and ethics follow suit, and the architect of "The Ark Myth" is forced to confront his hoax head on.

A young woman is writing a series of love letters, telling her lover the story of O, for his entertainment, but also, it seems, as a challenge. O is a fashion photographer, who falls for Rene, a wealthy man who proceeds to take her to the manor of Sir Stephen, where for several weeks, along with other women, she is enslaved in bondage and subject to torture, humiliation, and sexual assault at the hands of Sir Stephen, Rene, and their friends. After a time, Rene takes her back to her old life where she remains in love with him and has learned that when in love, "you are not free at all".
