Grooveyard Records is proud to present the Mega-awesome sixth disc by this mind-blowing heavy guitar power trio from Denmark featuring the incredible Martin J. Andersen on guitar & vocals. Includes 11 tracks (67 mins.) of outstanding, brain-damaging, over-the-top, bad-ass, blues-based, retro-sonic, guitar rock awesomeness that weighs heavy on the big, electric power trio jam:factor. On the amazing Live In Denmark disc, Blindstone dig deep into a remarkable set of awesome beyond belief originals plus several way-kool cover tracks by Jimi Hendrix, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush (where we find a stellar version of Land Of 1000 Nights for the 1st time on this disc) along with many other killer, vintage heavy rock jams that land phenomenal and defy six string gravity.
Supersonic Blues Machine have the form of a supergroup, but only their drummer, Kenny Aronoff, is well known. The other two members – bassist/producer Fabrizio Grossi and guitarist/vocalist Lance Lopez – are behind-the-scenes musicians but they're all united by a love of classic blues and classic rock. The latter is what initially brought Aronoff and Grossi together. The two musicians were playing in Goodfellas, a side project from Toto guitarist Steve Lukather. Not long afterward, Grossi was working with Lopez on an album by the guitarist and that turned into the band that became Supersonic Blues Machine. Several guests visited the studio during the recording of the band's debut – the biggest being Billy Gibbons, Warren Haynes, and Robben Ford…
After being the best-kept secret within the heavy side of blues rock, as part of the "closed" blues scene for two decades, the band is now moving to Mighty Music and finally getting the recognition they deserve. "Scars To Remember" is the tenth album from the Danish-based blues power trio, which has it's stylistic roots in the late '60s and '70s, with inspiration from bands/artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and others.Formed more than two decades ago and having played countless shows in those years, Blindstone hit it hard in the US, due to their sound, and released most of their albums on the American label Grooveyard Records.
