From La Femme Nikita and The Professional to The Fifth Element, writer/director Luc Besson has created some of the toughest, most memorable female action heroes in recent cinematic history. Now, Besson directs Scarlett Johansson and Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman in LUCY, an action-thriller that examines the possibility of what one human could truly do if she unlocked 100 percent of her brain capacity and accessed the furthest reaches of her mind. The Sondtrack album features new music by composer Eric Serra and the original end title song "Sister Rust" by Damon Albarn.

Lucy is a 2014 French science fiction action film written and directed by Luc Besson and produced by his wife Virginie Silla for his company Europacorp. The film was shot in Taipei, Paris and New York City. It stars Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Amr Waked and Choi Min-sik. Johansson portrays the title character, a woman who gains psychokinetic abilities from a nootropic drug being absorbed into her bloodstream. The film's original score was composed by Éric Serra, who has previously scored all of Besson's films apart from Angel-A and The Family.

EuropaCorp will release the official soundtrack album for Luc Besson’s action thriller Anna. The album features the film’s original music composed by Eric Serra (Leon: The Professional, The Fifth Element, GoldenEye, La Femme Nikita, Lucy, The Big Blue). Also included is Beauty Freak’s song My Beauty. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Wednesday, July 10. A CD version will be available overseas a few days later. Anna is written and directed by Besson and stars Sasha Luss, Luke Evans, Cillian Murphy and Helen Mirren. The thriller is now playing in U.S. theaters and will open in other markets over the next few weeks.
