Evan Blaker

Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken are New York-based songwriters and music producers who are business partners and friends. They have produced hits for Ruben Studdard, Wild Orchid, Christina Aguilera, and Rihanna. They helped build the career of Rihanna, and are the principals of her production company, SRP.
As songwriters and producers, Rogers and Sturken have achieved more than 20 Top 40 hits, twelve Top 5 hits and 6 BMI awards. Their songs have sold more than 60 million albums, both in the U.S. and around the world.

Buffalo newsman Evan Baxter is elected to Congress with the slogan, "Change the world." He lucks into a huge house in a new Virginia suburb. His Capitol office is also fantastic, but there's a catch: he's tapped by the powerful Congressman Long to co-sponsor a bill to allow development in national parks. In steps God, who appears to a disbelieving Evan and gently commands him to build an ark. Tools and wood arrive in Evan's yard, animal pairs follow, his beard and hair grow wildly, nomad's clothes and a staff appear. EVAN K is a 21-year old Greek/German guitarist & composer whose very melodic & memorable playing is fully displayed on Blue Lightning's 9 tracks. Highlights include "Skies Of Shred," "Into The Light," "Orchestra Of Withered Clouds," and a cover of the classic BLACK song, "Everything Is Coming Up Roses." Evan is influenced by Gus G, Jeff Loomis, Andy James, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Uli Jon Roth, Michael Romeo, Gary Moore, Michael Schenker, and Ritchie Blackmore.
