April 12th 1961 - Yuri Gagarin is about to see what no other person has seen in the history of humanity - the Earth from space. In the next 108 minutes he'll see more than most people do in a lifetime. What sights await the first cosmonaut silently gliding over the world below? What will it be like to view the oceans and continents sailing by from such a height? In a unique collaboration with the European Space Agency, and the Expedition 26/ 27 crew of the International Space Station, First Orbit recreates a new HD view of what Gagarin first witnessed.

"The Lumiere Brothers’ First Films" by Louis Lumiere, Auguste Lumiere (1895 - 1897)

This collection includes 85 films Lumiere brothers shot during the 1895-1897 period. Selected classic French film by Bertrand Tavernier from more than 1500 surviving paintings by the founders of film stored in the archives of the Institute Lumière in Lyon, these films in the retrospective form of showing us the formation of a reservoir of early French cinema. At the moment this collection is the most complete collection of paintings by the Lumiere brothers.
Collection is divided into 9 thematic chapters ( "The first film Lumière, Lyon - the birthplace of cinema," "Childhood," "The French have fun" and others) and is equipped with piano accompaniment Odermana Stewart (Stuart Oderman). Switchable voiceovers reporter Bertrand Tavernier (Bertrand Tavernier) and editor Frema Thierry (Thierry Fremaux) make of the history of early cinema, and are designed to bring greater clarity to what is happening on the screen.
