It all came together for Heaven 17 on this album, and as a result it is by far their strongest, most brilliant album. Combining their various influences (including R&B, pop, dance, electronica), Heaven 17 fused these styles together to create an almost perfect sound. There is simply not a weak track on the album. Highlights are numerous, including the very long but very wonderful "And That's No Lie." A strong melody, stunning vocals from Glenn Gregory, and tight production equal a fascinating glimpse into the human struggle. Adding a number of session players, including a guitarist, Heaven 17 was able to expand and build on their solid sound. Gregory is also allowed to branch out on this album and write more personal and political statements that were not clearly heard on their first two albums. Fans will not be disappointed, and in fact, this could be the album to win new fans over. "Sunset Now," "Flamedown," and the brilliant "This Is Mine" are just a few of the reasons for this album's greatness.

Joe Feeney was an American tenor singer who was a member of The Lawrence Welk Show television program. From 1957 to 1982, when the Welk show ended production, Feeney was the program's featured Irish tenor. Among his selection of musical numbers that were popular with the Welk audience were Danny Boy, Galway Bay, Sweet Leilani and the Mario Lanza classic "Be My Love". He also has the distinction of singing for five US Presidents and performed at Carnegie Hall three times; in 1975 he sang for Pope Paul VI at the canonization of Mother Seton, the first native-born American saint.

Mikkel Nordsø (born 1955) autodidact allmost! At the age of 11, he studied flamenco guitar at Christian Sievert. 15 years old, he became a member of Palle Mikkelborgs project V8, and the pioneer latin/funk group Buki-Yamaz. As an instrumental front person in Sneakers and Anima (1980-85) he added rockguitar playing, new dimensions in DK. Starting Mikkel Nordsø Band in 1985 he created a platform for composing, which can be heard on MNB’s 7 albums. On the 3 albums with Acoustic Guitars, 2 albums with Bombay Hotel and 1 album with Timewave he contributes as a composer, as well as developing his skills on the acoustic guitar.
