Fly Girls

Two rural Argentinean girls head for the capital with horrifying consequences in “A Fly in the Ashes,” a punchy drama about human trafficking that neatly balances grim social realism with a good story, an urgent message and a memorable perf from a Maria Laura Caccamo as an urban street saint.

In 2002, Cevin served as executive producer of the album When Pigs Fly: Songs You Never Thought You'd Hear, which is a collection of popular songs recorded by artists unlikely to record them. After his earlier success convincing Kevin DuBrow of Quiet Riot to record a mellow version of the song "Metal Health" with him for his band The Neanderthal Spongecake, he got the idea for the project and began recruiting musicians to participate. Some of the songs on the album include a version of Unforgettable by Ani DiFranco and Jackie Chan, which he co-produced with DiFranco, Blondie's "Call Me" by Alex Chilton and his band The Box Tops, and a cover of Shock The Monkey by Don Ho which Cevin also produced.

The St Catharine's Girls' Choir is currently made up of 28 girls, aged between eight and fifteen (years four to ten), drawn from local schools. The choir meets twice a week - on Monday and Tuesday afternoons after school - and sings a service in chapel every Tuesday, as well as participating in special concerts. There are a small number of 'pre-probationers' (school year 3) who attend on Mondays only and do not ordinarily participate in services.

Songs About Girls is the 2007 solo album by Will.I.Am. This, his third album, was released by Will.I.Am Music Group via Interscope.

Ernie K-Doe is best remembered for his 1961 smash “Mother-in-Law,” which was written and produced by Allen Toussaint, but K-Doe's brand of good-natured New Orleans R&B (and his fruitful musical relationship with Toussaint) runs deeper than just his signature song, as this two-disc, 49-track set shows. Collecting Toussaint-produced sides that K-Doe recorded for the Minit, Instant, and Janus imprints between 1960 and 1970, including “Here Come the Girls,” which has resurfaced in the 21st century as the soundtrack to a series of Boots television commercials, this compilation packages a ton of joy, warmth, and fun into the perfect introduction to a wonderful singer and performer.
