Black Oak County are back! Upon the release of their debutalbum Black Oak County , the band was promised a bright future by the likes of Classic Rock Magazine, Flick of the finger and Metal hammer. The album got massive airplay on Danish radio stations P4 and Myrock as well as receiving more than a million plays on Spotify among other online streaming services. In the fall of 2017, in a period of great success for Black Oak County, singer Niels Beier chose to leave the band and music all together. But now, Black Oak County are back, stronger than ever, with a new lead singer and a new sound, coupled with the same familiar energetic and powerful statement that people remember from the debut.

The basis of Jack Slamer was laid in 2006 after the dissolving of the band Labrats when the drummer Adrian Böckli and the guitarist Cyrill Vollenweider were searching for musicians to create a new project. Hendrik Ruhwinkel on bass and Marco Hostettler on guitar joined the band and first instrumental songs were created. The musical style was located somewhere between rock, blues and funk. In spring 2007, the singer Florian Ganz came on board and just few months later the first live concert was played at the Eidberger Openair under the new name Jack Slamer.

The "New Orleans Jazz Band of Cologne" can look back on more than 60 years of history, mostly as "Maryland Jazz Band of Cologne". At the request of the bandleader Doggy Hund, who died in the autumn of 2015, the band changed their name and presents itself since the beginning of 2016 as "New Orleans Jazz Band of Cologne". The musical concept of cultivating the traditional and authentic New Orleans Jazz continues to be in focus - too because we know that the "New Orleans Sound" is no longer (often) listening to an ubiquitous, original band like ours. As an example and musical orientation, the bands of the legendary Preservation Hall were from the very beginning.
