As a coach, you get to take a look at your opponent, unambiguously determine his weaknesses and put your tactics on display to defeat even a stronger opponent. In the living world developing along with you, each match turns into a football puzzle.

Davie Robertson – former Aberdeen, Rangers and Leeds United stalwart - is a long way from home. In fact, he’s a long way from anywhere. He’s the new manager of Real Kashmir FC, and he’s left behind his wife and the millionaire lifestyle he earned from football, to live in a shared house in a city that regularly suffers violent protests and terrorist attacks.

For the last 3 years I have been working as a team manager/coach with our local junior football team. It has changed my life. Working with these children every week and watching them grow and develop as players and people is without doubt one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. This football club has 100’s of children at all age groups and does a wonderful job, with very limited resources, to give these children a chance to play football & learn teamwork in a supportive environment.

The Pseudonym label closed out 2019 by showing some love to the long out of print back catalogs of two classic Dutch hard rock bands: Bodine and Vengeance. Both bands coincidentally featured the talents of guitarist (and future Ayreon mastermind) Arjen Anthony Lucassen, and both bands got career-spanning box sets. Vengeance, which Lucassen joined following his stint in Bodine, started as something of a straightforward heavy metal band with a NWOBHM vibe, but soon created their own quirky style of hard rock that brings to mind a Dutch version of Krokus.

Burl Ives parlayed his talent as a folksinger into a wide-ranging career as a radio personality and stage and screen actor. He made his Broadway debut in the Rodgers & Hart musical The Boys from Syracuse in 1938, had his own radio show by 1940, and made his major-label recording debut in 1944. His first charting single was 1948's "Blue Tail Fly" with the Andrews Sisters, and he soon took traditional folk tunes like "Lavender's Blue (Dilly Dilly)" and "On Top of Old Smoky" to the U.S. Top 20.
