Facing Forever is a Progressive/Metal band from southwest Oklahoma, who love Jesus. The band was formed by Sommer and David Condren initially as an acoustic cover duo. But, they also had the idea to start writing originals in the mode of their influences, but with major focus being put on the lyrics expressing their walk as Christ followers. Hoping for a unique sound, the influences combined emotional & epic hard rock, in the vein of Evanescence with the technical chops of bands like Dream Theater and Rush.

Progressive Metal

Symphony X is an American heavy metal band from New Jersey founded in 1994 by guitarist Michael Romeo. Musically, Symphony X is often compared to other progressive metal bands such as Dream Theater and Fates Warning. They play in complex timings and odd meters while incorporating elements of symphonic metal and more traditional heavy metal into their sound. Their music also contains strong neo-classical elements reminiscent of Yngwie Malmsteen, Cacophony, Randy Rhoads, and other neo-classical metal artists.
Live on the Edge of Forever is the first live album by progressive metal band Symphony X, which was recorded on their European tour in 2000 and 2001.

The outstanding debut record of german Heavy Rock Band ZAR with ex-URIAH HEEP/LUCIFER'S FRIEND singer John Lawton will be re-released as Japanese CD. Pure 80's MHR in the vein of Grand Prix, spiced with a bit of Bonfire, the good Scorpions. Incredibly sharp guitars, tons of pompous keyboards and the soaring of John Lawton's vocals makes this recording a truly polished diamond through its 9 complete - no fillers - tracks.

R.I.P. James Edward Ingram
(1952-02-16 – 2019-01-29)

James Ingram never became a superstar, but he racked up a respectable number of adult contemporary and urban soul hits during the '80s and early '90s, many of which were duets. Forever More (Love Songs, Hits & Duets) collects 14 highlights from his career, including the hits "Just Once," "One Hundred Ways," "Baby, Come to Me," "Yah Mo Be There," "Somewhere Out There," and "I Don't Have the Heart." The remaining songs may not be as recognizable as the singles, but they're in the same vein and should please the casual fans who were lured in by the well-known hits.

Barney Wilen's mother was French, his father a successful American dentist-turned-inventor. He grew up mostly on the French Riviera; the family left during World War II but returned upon its conclusion. According to Wilen himself, he was convinced to become a musician by his mother's friend, the poet Blaise Cendrars. As a teenager he started a youth jazz club in Nice, where he played often. He moved to Paris in the mid-'50s and worked with such American musicians as Bud Powell, Benny Golson, Miles Davis, and J.J. Johnson at the Club St. Germain. His emerging reputation received a boost in 1957 when he played with Davis on the soundtrack to the Louis Malle film Lift to the Scaffold. Two years later, he performed with Art Blakey and Thelonious Monk on the soundtrack to Roger Vadim's Les Liaisons Dangereuses (1960).

Anyone at this year’s IAJE performance by Chick Corea and the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra of Norway left with a sense of exhilaration. Live in Molde continues in the same vein, presenting some of the most creative and challenging big band arrangements in recent memory.

Excellent addition to any prog-rock music collection
A perfectly well-crafted and eclectic album of art pop music - nowhere near as dull as most critics call it. The ingredients are simple, but thanks to a good sense of melody and arrangement the whole thing becomes really tasty after all.
