Francesca Michielin (born 25 February 1995 in Bassano del Grappa, province of Vicenza, Italy) is an Italian singer. She rose to fame after winning the fifth series of the Italian talent show X Factor. Her first single, "Distratto", debuted atop the Italian Singles Chart and was certified double platinum by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry.

Il "vulcano" è lei, in fase di esplosione. Non è più la ragazzina timida e un po' introversa di qualche anno fa: oggi Francesca Michielin è una 23enne che ha voglia di mettersi in gioco. Ma soprattutto di comunicare, di farlo con le sue canzoni. Non è un caso se rispetto ai due precedenti album in "2640" firma (da sola) una buona parte dei pezzi che compongono la tracklist. Gli altri li ha scritti insieme ad un team ristretto di autori-amici che considera ormai come membri della sua grande famiglia: accanto a Dario Faini ci sono Calcutta, Tommaso Paradiso e Cosmo, tre importanti esponenti del nuovo cantautorato italiano, quello della cosiddetta scena "indie".

Francesca Longrigg began her musical career by releasing an EP called Shine On Me from the indie label Bright Spark records. The EP included the song of the same name, written by Ed Baden Powell from D Influence, and went straight to radio 'A' lists. Francesca signed to Chrysalis Music and released an ambient dance version of her song Hanging In Mid Air (co-written with Mike Parker), which was produced by Adrian Sherwood and Keith LeBlanc of On-U Sound. She earned the accolade of 'singer of the month' in the industry's mag Tipsheet. Tim Simenon of Bomb the Bass produced a dub version of the track, and Francesca contributed two songs for Keith LeBlanc's huge selling album Auduim Capsule 1.

Experimental ethnic fusion outfit based around the duo of Jean-François Gaël, Pierre Buffenoir, initially with Arcane V members: Philippe Gumplowicz and Youval Micenmacher, and others. Sonorhc (Chronos backwards) played a wide-ranging mixture of styles, covering all sorts of ancient and modern cultural elements, medieval, baroque, oriental, you name it, they mixed and matched, fused and collided, making unusual and original concoctions, resulting in three very different albums, and also Jean-François Gaël et Pierre Buffenoir - Portes D'Orient which was essentially Sonorhc although it didn't bear their name.
