Saudades de Rock (which roughly translates from Portuguese as "Nostalgic Yearnings of Rock") is Extreme's fifth studio album, released on August 12, 2008. It was the band's first album of new material since 1995's Waiting for the Punchline, and also their first release with new drummer Kevin Figueiredo. Heavier and more confrontational than anything the band has ever done, Saudades de Rock finds the group in peak performance after a decade-plus hiatus, their last album the 1995 A&M swan song Waiting for the Punchline.

White Lion was a Danish/American rock band that was formed in New York City in 1983 by Danish vocalist/rhythm guitarist Mike Tramp and American lead guitarist Vito Bratta. Mainly active in the 1980s and early 1990s, releasing their debut album Fight to Survive in 1985. The band achieved success with their No. 8 hit "Wait" and No. 3 hit "When the Children Cry" from their second album, the double platinum selling Pride. The band continued their success with their third album, Big Game which achieved Gold status and their fourth album Mane Attraction which included a supporting tour. White Lion disbanded in 1992 and not long after their first compilation album, The Best of White Lion was released. Mike Tramp reformed White Lion with all new musicians in 1999 and again following a failed attempt to reform the original line up and several legal issues in 2004. The new White Lion released a live album in 2005 and a brand new studio album Return of the Pride in 2008.

Frontiers managed to give Journey four Top 40 hits, with "After the Fall" and "Send Her My Love" both reaching number 23, "Faithfully" at number 12, and "Separate Ways" peaking at number eight – the same amount that 1981's Escape brandished. While they tried to use the same musical recipe as Escape, Frontiers comes up a little short, mainly because the keyboards seem to overtake both Schon's guitar playing and Steve Perry's strong singing. An overabundance of Jonathan Cain's synth work cloaks the quicker tunes and seeps into the ballads, slightly widening the strong partnership of Perry and Schon.

Ten is a British melodic hard rock band which was formed in 1995. Up until June 2015, the band has released fourteen studio albums, four compilation albums, four EPs, a double live album, nine music videos and four lyric videos, with the latest one being "The Esoteric Ocean", from their 14th studio album Illuminati. In March 2016, the band announced their return to Frontiers for a multi-album deal, starting with the release of their thirteenth studio album entitled Gothica and a reissue of their back catalogue in box-set format, entitled Opera Omnia. The band's fourteenth studio album entitled Illuminati, was released in November 2018, through Frontiers Records, while the box set Opera Omnia, followed some months later, to huge critical acclaim.

STATE OF SALAZAR was started in 2010 by five students from the Malmö Academy of Music who wanted to play rock music made for the big arenas. The singer and songwriter, Marcus Nygren, came up with the concept for State of Salazar in 2009 when a couple of songs that he’d written did not fit his metal-based band 8-Point Rose. State of Salazar released their debut EP ”Lost my Way” in the summer of 2012, it spread fast in magazines and blogs and created a tidal wave of praise. The Swedish quintet received a lot of positive reactions from all over the world during a very short period of time.

TWO OF A KIND is a melodic rock band from Holland, whose self-titled debut album was released by Frontiers in 2007. Fred Hendrix, better known as main songwriter and singer for the Melodic Rock masters TERRA NOVA, heads up the band. Back at the turn of the century, Fred had become more and more interested in production and songwriting, so he started looking for new and fresh talent to develop. Following several suggestions from Frontiers Records’ President and A&R Director, Serafino Perugino, Fred hooked up with not one but two female singers, Esther Brouns and Anita Craenmehr.

Of the iconic images of the 80’s decade in Rock n Roll, one that certainly stood the test of time is Alice Cooper’s then “Rambo-looking” guitar player shooting fires on the crowds from his M-80 shaped guitar. That guitar player was none other than Kane Roberts: an accomplished musician and singer, who went on to record a total of four solo albums (also including the “Phoenix Down” project released on the Frontiers label in the late 90’s).
