A caixa contém os 15 CDs gravados na Philips + 1 CD Duplo Divina Maravilhosa, coletânea contendo raridades, em sua maioria ainda inéditas no formato CD.

Brazilian vocalist Gal Costa was a fundamental presence in the Tropicalia movement on the 1960s, then went on to be a treasured performer who exemplified her country's joyful approach to music for decades afterward.

Brazil Classics 1: Beleza Tropical is a 1989 compilation CD from the Luaka Bop. It consists of a wide range of Brazilian music, compiled by David Byrne of the Talking Heads.

Brazil Classics 3: Forro Etc. is a 1991 compilation CD released by the Luaka Bop. For this edition, they explore the different aspects of a style of Brazilian music called forro. This was compiled by David Byrne of the Talking Heads.

Here at Elefant we are fervent believers in poetic justice. It couldn’t be any other way. We have the clear example of Nick Garrie and the well-deserved second youth his incredible “The Nightmare Of J.B. Stanislas” experienced. We believe that “Uma Tarde Na Fruteira” deserves the same thing, and we are going to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its release to reclaim it with a new Deluxe Edition that includes 6 additional tracks. Because the figure of the songwriter and creator, Flávio Basso (aka Júpiter Maça, or Woody Apple, or as he signed his first international album with Elefant Records, Jupiter Apple), requires revisiting 7 years after his death, at just 47 years old.

You may know Rodrigo Amarante already. You may have heard "Tuyo," his theme tune to the Netflix drama Narcos, or the Little Joy album, recorded with Fab Moretti and Binki Shapiro, you might have noted his name among the credits on songs by Gal Costa, Norah Jones and Gilberto Gil; or perhaps you saw him play live with Brazilian samba big band Orquestra Imperial, or with Rio rockers Los Hermanos; you really should have heard his debut album, Cavalo, released in 2014.

In the late 1960s, Brazilian artists forged a watershed cultural movement known as Tropicalia.
