Christopher Wong has established himself as one of the top composers in Vietnam's film industry, and a frequent collaborator of the rising generation of Asian American film directors. While attending UCLA, Christopher's interest in film music began when he was selected by the music department to study privately under Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith.

The Gai Gia Lam Chieu films focus on the stories of beautiful young women, whose successful careers intertwine with their complicated love life. In The Royal Bride, successful talk show host Ms. Q (Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc) is finally ready to tie the know with her boyfriend (Le Xuan Tien), only to realize that not only is he fabulously wealthy, but also a member of a royal family. With the mother-in-law scheming to arrange a more suitable match for her son, Ms. Q must make a tough decision about her fiancée and her career…

Even Dame Joan Sutherland has rarely if ever made an opera recording so totally enjoyable and involving as this. With the same cast (including chorus and orchestra) as at Convent Garden, it was recorded in 1967 immediately after a series of live performances in the Royal Opera House, and both the comedy and the pathos come over with an intensity born of communication with live audiences. That impression is now the more vivid on this superb transfer, for with spoken dialogue used in this original French version of the opera the absence of background noise is a special benefit, and the production vividly captures the developments in the story.

Live At Montreux is a 1993 live album by Miles Davis & Quincy Jones. This was recorded at the 25th anniversary of The Montreux Jazz Festival on 8 July, 1991, two months before Davis' passing. This was released in the U.S. by Warner Bros. Records.
