Es beleuchtet die ganze Palette der Erkrankungen im höheren Lebensalter und der geriatrischen Syndrome, darunter Ernährungs- und Stoffwechselstörungen, Mobilitätsstörungen, Infektionskrankheiten, Tumorerkrankungen, Herz-Kreislauf- und Gefäßerkrankungen, neurologische Erkrankungen, die verschiedenen Formen des kognitiven Abbaus sowie Sarkopenie und Frailty.
